WHAT IT IS: Break- in Hackathon is a non-formal training opportunity for artists and cultural professionals. The challenge will take place within Art+B=Love(?) Festival on the 4th and 5th of April 2018 in Ancona.
It is aimed to share a replicable method to bring innovation in traditional organisations and enterprises through artistic intervention. The chosen artists will have the chance of learning new forms of art production and testing them in a real case study.
Since Ancona is a city whose economy is strictly connected to the harbour, the topic chosen will concern maritime transport.
HOW IT WILL WORK: The teams of artists, helped by facilitators, will be assembled through a workshop led by Sineglossa that uses the Jungian archetypes soft skills methodology for discovering the potential
of each one. The teams created will then be guided by tutors in the use of the break-in the desk methodology for shaping the best solutions according the maritime transport expert’s brief.
On the 5th a jury composed of maritime transport experts, international cultural operators and start up professionals will choose the best project. The winners will have the chance to develop the project, in the following months with the help of Faic -Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Cities and presenting it in one of the EU forthcoming programmes’ calls.
Break- in Hackathon is part of Feelms, an Erasmus+ program that involves 28 cultural professionals from all over Europe and, just for this special event, we are launching this call for 10 other cultural professionals to join the group.
The tutors are all professionals in the Art&Business field:
